Camilla of Castlemere, Innis MacCothas, Darlene of Richmond, Aimee of Castlemere, Courtnie of Castlemere, Xena Satarrah, Martine Beauvarlet and were gifted with a small green bead token.

50 and more points
Milica od Soli, Maria of Castlemere and Iain Qwhewyl were presented with a special silver and green A&S token for their achievements during the past year.

These Shire members qualify to compete for the highest honor, the title "Patron of the Arts & Sciences of Castlemere".
Tamara of Castlemere and Penda of Fishwick have worked long and hard during the past year for the benefit of the Arts & Sciences in our Shire during the past year. They have created many items, contributed t giftbaskets, taught classes and wrote articles as a true Patron is wont to do. Penda of Fishwick thus won the title of "Castlemere Patron of the Arts & Sciences 2007" closely followed with only 12 pts difference by Tamara of Castlemere. Both were given a silver and blue enamel token.

The Patron of the Arts & Sciences, Penda of Fishwick, was also presented with The Last Shire of Castlemere t-shirt.

The Arts & Sciences contest of the Shire of Castlemere "Castlemere Companion of the Arts & Sciences" and " Castlemere Patron of the Arts & Sciences" aims at highlighting every single effort in the arts and sciences ,however small, and rewarding those who untiringly strive to teach and to craft and to create and to learn.
Each contribution to further the Arts and Sciences is rewarded with 0.5-10 points based on depth of research and amount of commitment. The contest begins on the December business meeting and ends with the December Business meeting 12 months later following the quarterly reporting schedule of the office of Minister of Arts & Sciences. Simply by turning in your quarterly A&S report you were already participating in this contest, and the end of this year long quest is near !

At the Shire meeting on December 14th, 2006 we will be announcing the Castlemere Patron of the Arts & Sciences and the Castlemere Companions of the Arts & Sciences !

Starting february 1st the Shire of Castlemere is on a quest to find and honor those who promote the arts and sciences. Join into the fun that is the contest for the Shire of Castlemere Patron & Champion of the Arts & Sciences and the Shire of Castlemere Companions of the Arts & Sciences !

Everything you do to promote the Art & Sciences will count towards this quest, from your own projects small and big to everything you do for the Arts & Sciences on a local and on a kingdom-level.
