9th of June
Casting, Carving, Coronets
location: Harling Residence aka Penda's & Mary's home,
2525 Zunnia St, Middleburg FL
begin 11am
Class I: Intro to Pewter Casting by HL Iain [all materials and tools provided by teacher]
Class II: Drawing and shaping wire by HL Hrothgar [all materials and tools provided by teacher]
Class III: Techniques of wood carving for beginners by HL Innis supplies/tools needed: 1/2 or ¾ inch thick board of wood (white wood is acceptable, poplar is better) 1’x1’, pencil and a sharp knife
A beginners set of tools can be purchase at Harbor Freight for $5--6 or Wood Craft for $30, otherwise I have a few touse during the workshop.
Introduction of basics of tools and carving between 11 and 12 and assisting those carving after 12 until finished
Class IV: Carving jet beads, amber and bone by Lord Penda [all materials and tools provided by teacher]

Garb'n Gear
location : Muir Residence aka Kenet's and Gaest's home, 6626 Blackwood Dr. Jacksonville, FL 32277
begin 11am
Class I: Shoeworkshop by HL Maeva
materials needed : 0.5 yards of muslin or other scrap fabric, a dark marker, pins, scissors, 1 piece of vegetable tanned leather, 3mm thick, big enough to fit 2 of your foot prints with a bit a seam allowance, 0.5 yard of wool felt [a heavy Melton or check for wool blankets at the thrift store] if you'd rather use silk/brocade or velvet or any other lightweight material you will need an equal amount of a sturdy lining fabric such as trigger or canvas -OR- thinner leather than your sole for the upper
Class II: Tunic, dress & pants by HL Kenet,
materials needed : you will need 2.5 yards of 60'” wide prewashed fabric [cotton, linen or natural lend] for pants. For a tunic or dress measure from the top of your shoulders to whereever you want your hem to be and double the amount, then add 2 yards for sleeves, matching thread, scissors, pins, a sewing machine if you have.

Class I: Juggling 101 by Lord Suibhne MacBurke [all materials provided by teacher]
Class II: Dice Games 101 by Mistress Ysabela [all materials provided by teacher]
Class III: Fencing Armor by Don Gunther
Class IV:Spear & Shield team work by Sir Redwald and his lady Amber. Please bring your shield and if you have a spear. Sir Redwald will be bringing spare shields and spears as well [postponed]
Class V : Dos and Donts of fighting in a unit - Papa Dunncan [begin noon]

Dance Workshop
an all-day workshop on medieval and renaissance dances taught by the Master of Dance of Trimaris HL Eoin and her partner HL Theadora
location: Jacksonville Main Library, 303 N Laura St, Jacksonville, FL 32202
begin: 9:30am – 3:30pm
water will be provided by the library staff, there is a small kitchen we can use for snacks and fingerfood
hand-out will be provided free of charge
Please dress in comfortable clothes and shoes
